About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • Sela Rice (1/2 kg),

  • Chicken (300 grams),

  • Chopped Garlic (4-5 cloves),

  • Carrot (sliced, 1),

  • Capsicum (sliced, 1),

  • Cabbage (half),

  • Spring Onion (1-2 strands),

  • Chicken Cube (1),

  • Crushed Black Pepper (1 tsp)

  • Soya Sauce (1 tbsp), Chinese Salt (1/3 tsp

  • Clarified Butter or Oil (2-3 tbsp)


  • Salt (to taste).


Preparation

Clean and soak the 1/2 kg of sela rice for 1-2 hours. In a cooking pan, heat 2-3 tbsp of clarified butter or oil and add 4-5 chopped garlic cloves, 300 grams of chicken, roasted. Add 1 tbsp of soya sauce, 1 sliced carrot, 1 sliced capsicum, and 1/2 cabbage, mix well. Then add 1 chicken cube and the required water, the soaked sela rice, and cook. When the rice is done, transfer it to a serving platter and garnish with 1-2 strands of spring onion.
